Ben and Cathy Rushing of Natchitoches from time to time hold house concerts. They are informal affairs; sometimes guests bring food, and there's a charge at the door to help defray expenses of the gig. Saturday night the music was by musicians Tom Prasada-Rao & Cary Cooper; opening was George Richardson from San Antonio. I wanted to go, but we had other commitments. Seems it was successful, because it looks like it never really ended. The concert moved to Cane River today.
