Part of the tradition of these African-American Mardi Gras Indian Dancers is the face-off that they make when the come upon a dancer from a different tribe in their meandering  through the streets on Mardi Gras, and St. Joseph's Day, their primary parade days each year. It was a success for me that the dancer gave me the "glare" until I nodded my head in appreciation. Leica M6, Elmarit 28mm, Fuji Superia 800
