Shipley's Donuts has been in Natchitoches since 1964.   This is the second location, the original was just across the street.  I was there one night when Mr. Shipley came in to teach the donut cutters how to do the job.  I got to test out  their efforts.   Now Joey,  in the background,  owns the place and he cooks most all of the donuts served here.
