The Spirit of Northwestern Band is one of my favorite things at NSU, and you'll note I often post images from their shows.   This past week, I found out that two of the three drum majors are brother and sister.  It takes a lot of talent to lead 309 musicians in intricate field shows, and keep them sounding great. They do it, and it takes a lot of energy.  The pretty one is the head drum major.

By the way these aren't the only talented members of their family.  Their older brother was also a drum major here.
