Each week in the late Spring and during the Summer, local green gardners gather on Saturdays under the Oaks on the Cane Rive to sell their produce. Melons, tomatoes, okra, blueberries and peppers are the prime targets for Natchitoches shoppers, but other luscious produce is there too. The Pratt family produces about a hundred different varieties of jellies, pickles and preserves, and you'll find them here every weekend. |
