The Viet Nam Memorial Moving Wall, a traveling replica of the original in Washington DC came to Natchitoches.  It was set up in a green meadow, just across the river from downtown.  People  came from all over to see it, and they talked to each other; one asked, "Do you have anyone here?" The woman answered, "Yes, that's my baby brother, he was just 18."
